Starting
out at the features desk of a large newspaper gave
me an appetite to work in the world of media. Moving
onward, in the early eighties, I worked for an outdoor
advertising company for four years. Then I crossed
the border to Devon taking on a senior marketing
role at a "heritage collectibles" company.
Scotland called me back in 1991 whereupon I joined
the sales & marketing department at Radio Clyde.
In 1995/96 a dedicated Market Research Department
was set-up to service the whole of Scottish Radio
Holdings and, always keen to rise to a challenge,
I made the move to spot the trends!
